SWSA are our first choice when training is required and have so far provided us with every training need that we have thrown at them. Our staff have given nothing but positive feedback about the courses they have attended and the incredibly experienced and knowledgeable trainers and we cannot thank SWSA enough for their efforts. I am at present doing my level 5 leadership qualification, it was easy to sign up for the course, and I have received support throughout the course, guidance, if I have any problems or do not understand anything I will give my assessor a call who will help me, the assessor visits me regulary and makes sure I understand. I am pleased I signed up with South West Skills academy to do this qualification.
I have recently finished the L3 Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care. I chose to do it with South West Skills Academy due to the links they have with Penhellis Community Care, my current employers. I enjoyed my time doing the course. Upon completion, I have been able to progress within my job which wouldn’t have been possible without the relevant qualifications. I found all the staff friendly, helpful and enthusiastic to help me learn.
I have recently completed the L2 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship with South West Skills Academy and Cornwall College. Before I started this job in care, I was completely new to the industry. By doing my apprenticeship whilst working, it allowed me to learn skills and techniques required in care. The staff at South West Skills Academy were helpful throughout and very flexible, they worked around me meaning that I didn’t have to take time off work. This allowed me to learn whilst committing to full time employment.
