The Level 2 in Handling Medicines is suitable for those who wish to develop their knowledge of Medication within a range of settings.

  • Have an awareness of the importance of responsibility, accountability and confidentiality in handling medicines

Learning Requirements & Additional Details:

There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this award. Candidates wishing to undertake this award should have the minimum level of literacy and numeracy necessary to use the distance learning materials and to complete the assessment tasks

Admittance onto a course of study remains at the discretion of the centre based upon the above criteria.

The Level 2 Certificate in Understanding the safe Handling of Medication provides a sound preparation for further study with the opportunity to progress into employment.
