This qualification is designed to support the development of registered managers of adult social care services. The qualification provides learners with the knowledge and skills needed to work in adult social care and to have responsibility for leading and managing a service. This will include managing and improving care and support for individuals accessing the service, supporting and developing the workforce, and driving the vision for their service or organisation. This qualification is most suitable for those working in a managerial role in adult care settings who are looking to progress their career. It is also appropriate for managers who have not yet achieved a vocational qualification at level 5.
How Is The Qualification Structured?
Learners must achieve 80 credits from the 20 mandatory units and a minimum of 15 credits from the optional units to achieve a minimum of 95 credits in total.
